Today's post is all about giving thanks. That's right. Our nation's Independence Day is this Sunday, and without the men and women of the armed forces, our great nation would not enjoy the freedom it so easily takes for granted.
This cheer mom is giving a big shout of thanks to all those who place their lives on the line to keep me and mine safe. Thank you!
It's not just about those placing themselves on the line in other countries either. We've got men and women right here in our own back yard who place themselves in harms way on a daily basis to ensure our safety. These heroes don't always get the respect or thanks they're due, and today I want to pay tribute to them as well. To my police officer husband, and all the men and women who protect the cities and states in this great country: Thank you! You are my heroes!
