Song of the day- Just Can't Get Enough by Black Eyed Peas
Only a few days left before Obsessed goes on tour! Woot! In keeping with this week's theme, I want to talk about heroes, and the different qualities and characteristics in them we find sexy.
For me, there's something immensely sexy about a bad boy. There. I said it. I like my fictional men bad––really bad! Add a set of rippling muscles, tattoos, a piercing or two and a I'm a happy girl. Give him a dark, tortured past, a few scars (emotional or otherwise) and I'm giddy.
Why would I be happy about a human pin cushion with excess baggage you ask?
Simple! Bad boys are usually tough nuts to crack (heh heh, I said nuts) and when they finally overcome whatever it is that's holding them back, keeping them from being the man they're supposed to be, their HEA is that much sweeter.
Nick Ackart is the hero in my erotic suspense, Obsessed. He's pierced, tatted, sports a shaved head and a filthy mouth. He's angsty, and shmexy and is running from a dark past filled with intense emotional pain. Watching his hard-as-nails/tough exterior soften throughout the story was immensely rewarding for me. I hope you all enjoy him as much as I do!

Julie- I think you're on to something with the house cleaning! I think I'd find any man that cleaned a whole lot sexier!
I find it sexy when the hero has a lot of integrity. Gorgeous blue eyes are a plus too.
